This drill focused on a Y passing combination to move the ball through the lines of the opponent.
ORGANIZATION
Create a tiangle with three cones and add a mannequin in the middle as shown in the video. Player #2 starts behind the mannequin . Players move as in the video.
COACHING POINTS
Correct passing technique
Strong pass
Target the correct leg depending what is the receivers next move
Player #2 is important to be behind the opponent and appear when the player #1 makes the pass
Keep the pace up by encouraging and motivating the players
PRO TIP Max number of players is 7, more than that will make the pace of the exercise very slow.
